The Last time I was busy with my Admission

As all of us know that one of the most difficult and important task in our life is to take admissions. Admissions not only at the right place but at the right time too. Since our life start we are always in a struggle to take admission whether it’s a pre-primary school or a graduate college. The life goes around and comes around the admissions itself. I have been noticing the procedure and the difficulties student goes through while searching for the right college, the right course and the right time.

If we are talking about admission let’s take it to the nursery (primarily) level. For the past so many years the system of admission in India was based on the educational and economical conditions of the parents and the child who was going to be admitted was considered if the above two conditions make the school satisfied. Then our country comes up with a new notion that was termed as the point system. The idea is nice but the implementation of the system was never properly defined. The system is for sure better than the previous one but still have some vast loopholes. One of the major issues was the admission of children living in remote areas as it was really difficult to get them admitted. But they are happy tapping their back in pride.
Lets now come to the admission to a college, If you were able to get admission in a nice school enough to build your personality you can apply in almost every college in the country. But applying for it never guarantees the admission in the college. The admission in India is highly categorized on torturing students and their parents. To be on a serious note, the admission process is divided into two on the basis of the means of admission.
The first one is on the basis of Competitive exam and the other one is on the basis of merit. Usually the entrance exams are far more difficult than the usual academics they are taught in their classes. Thus most of the student prefers to take Extra tuition for these exams which makes it really difficult for the student to cope up with the school as well. And if we talk about the merit system their colleges asks percentage as far as 100% in the 4 subjects you have which is practically impossible. And there is a blessdy for all the students belonging to the special classes that they almost need 505 marks of the general student to get in and about 10% less merit to apply for an admission.
Thus the system keeps on revolving here and there, if you are not Einstein than you can’t get admission in India.
